Position: Food & Customer Service Specialist
Location: OBA Kitchen, Vilnius
Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) or Part-Time
About Us
OBA Kitchen is a growing African food business in Vilnius serving freshly prepared African-inspired meals, snacks and drinks. We are looking for a friendly and dependable team member who enjoys both food preparation and working with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook OBA Kitchen menu items according to our recipes and standards.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly customer service.
- Serve and package food and drinks.
- Handle payments and POS transactions.
- Keep the cooking, serving and customer areas clean and organised.
- Monitor basic stock levels and report when items need restocking.
- Assist with simple opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, cooking or customer service is an advantage but not required.
- No professional cooking qualification is required. Full training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn and follow food hygiene and preparation procedures.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for daily tasks.
- Ability to stay organised during busy periods.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of Lithuanian or African languages is an advantage.
